Hey, just a question for everyone that works with a rehabilitation counselor. In your state, do they pay for your college tuition if you provide them with the necessary documentations that you are in college? Do they require you to fill out your Financial Aid before they start helping you with your tuition or are they okay if you don't fill out the FAFSA forms? How much do they cover, I mean to say, do they include room and board and course textbooks, materials and adaptive equipment and technology or do they only pay for your classes?

In Texas, they do pay tuition (for community college and public universities) if you're going full-time, but I think you have to fill out your Financial Aid papers and be accepted for that before they will do it. Also, as far as I know, they only pay for the classes, not sure whether or not they pay room and board. When you give them your class schedule, they also have a vowcher thing that will pay for your books and materials but it only goes to one place like if your buying from the campus bookstore or something like that. On the technology (like if you needed a screenreader or notetaker or anything like that), I don't think the state pays for that, so a student would need to talk to their councilor about that.
